Publisher Quality Standards
Last updated: April 2026
These standards define what we look for when vetting publisher sites and what we expect from listed publishers on an ongoing basis. They protect the quality of the marketplace for both buyers and publishers.
1. Initial Vetting Criteria
To be listed on Bazsy, a publisher site must meet these requirements:
- Domain Rating: Minimum DR 20 as verified through third-party SEO tools (Ahrefs, Moz, or equivalent)
- Organic traffic: Demonstrable organic traffic from search engines. Bot traffic, purchased traffic, or social-only traffic does not qualify
- Content quality: Original, substantive content that serves real readers. No scraped, spun, or thin content
- Site health: No manual penalties, no malware, proper HTTPS, reasonable page load times
- No spam indicators: Not part of a PBN (private blog network), no excessive outbound links, no link farm behavior
- Active publication: Regular content updates within the past 6 months
2. Metric Verification
Bazsy verifies publisher metrics through third-party SEO tools during the vetting process. Self-reported metrics are not accepted. We check:
- Domain Rating / Domain Authority
- Organic traffic estimates
- Referring domains count and quality
- Spam score indicators
- Traffic source distribution (organic vs. direct vs. referral)
3. Ongoing Monitoring
Listed publishers are periodically re-evaluated. We monitor for:
- Significant drops in domain metrics or organic traffic
- New spam indicators or penalties
- Content quality degradation
- Excessive outbound link selling that damages site quality
- Buyer complaints or recurring disputes
Publishers that fall below standards will be notified and given time to address issues. Persistent non-compliance results in delisting.
4. Publisher Responsibilities
- Fulfill orders within the turnaround time stated in your listing
- Publish content that meets the editorial guidelines
- Maintain the link for the duration specified in your listing (minimum 12 months for permanent placements)
- Communicate promptly with buyers and the Bazsy team
- Report any significant changes to your site (domain migration, ownership change, major redesign)
- Do not artificially inflate metrics
5. Link Maintenance
Publishers must maintain published links for the duration specified in the listing. Removing or nofollowing links without buyer consent or Bazsy approval is a violation and may result in refunds, penalties, or delisting.
6. Pricing Transparency
Publishers set their own prices on Bazsy. Listed prices must be accurate and not subject to hidden surcharges. If a publisher wants to change pricing, they update their listing — active orders are fulfilled at the agreed price.
7. Violations & Consequences
Violations of these standards may result in:
- Warning and corrective action request
- Temporary suspension from the marketplace
- Permanent delisting
- Refunds issued to affected buyers
